BRT: Nuisance a regular Habit

It is no longer a new topic on the lips of commuters; the level of rudeness, insolence and disorderliness the said BRT operators, Ticket sellers and supervisors exhibit on daily basis. If its not insults from the Ticket sellers to commuters then its a wicked act of ignoring a desperate commuter who needs to get to work all just to show some level of power by the BRT supervisors they will just choose to keep you standing and let those who you came right before, on board.

I choose to finally write an article on the BRT disorderliness for this just reason that I bore witness to a rather ridiculous act today the 31, January 2017 at about 9:20am, at the Ojota Boarding terminal, this display I witnessed was totally not necessary as the entire commuters on queue were compelled to respond in unison, in support to the passenger who was rudely addressed.

Every regular commuter with BRT already knows the issue with ''if you don't have an exact change, tickets will either not be sold to you or your change will be forcefully short changed and this many commuters prepare for by coming with exact change for their ticket fair.

This Pretty composed lady, had two hundred and twenty naira (220), hoping to buy a ticket for one hundred and twenty naira (120), The ticket seller refused the 20 naira and received only the 200naira hoping to give the lady a change of 80naira which he did but gave the lady bad 20Naira note which  funny enough happened to be worse than the 20naira which the lady had given the ticket seller at first. Soon as she noticed it, She asked that it be changed by the ticket seller. Instead of getting it changed she received insult from the ticket seller which caused the commuters on queue to be really pissed as they all in one voice supported the lady in scolding the ticket seller.
Note: The lady was obviously old enough to be the ticket sellers Mother..

Honestly, I don't know who to address this letter to if its Primero i.e. the body contracted to Manage BRT or The Lagos state government.

To Whom it may concern,
Kindly read and address this situation for the sake of the masses, who; like it or not are the reason why you are there in the first place.

Yours sincerely,
For the Masses
