Tony Onyemaechi Elumelu (born 22 March 1963 in Jos, Nigeria) is a Nigerian economist, entrepreneur, and philanthropist. He is the Chairman of Heirs Holdings, the United Bank for Africa, Transcorp and founder of The Tony Elumelu Foundation.
Tony who turns a year old today the 22, March 2017 has not rested as prominent personalities and fans visit and send in congratulatory messages.
Interestingly, today is the day the names of the successful applicants to the Tony Elumelu Foundation Entrepreneurship programme would be released.
