While Nigerians continually wonder what could be wrong with our Nation and how we could possibly salvage the situation for the sake of the future of our Children, Chief Olusegun Obasanjo, the former president of Nigeria has said that by his pedigree as a former leader of this country and the sacrifices he has made for the unity of the country, he has the right to criticize President Muhammadu Buhari.
The former president made this known in his remark at the 2018 Ibogun Day celebration, which attracted notable indigenous persons to Ogun State on Wednesday.
Also in attendance were: Ogun State Governor Ibikunle Amosun, two gubernatorial candidates of the African Democratic Congress (ADC) and Allied People’s Movement (APM), Prince Gboyega Nasir Isiaka and Hon. Adekunle Akinlade, respectively.
Obasanjo further stated that President Buhari was victorious in 2015 because he Buhari had his support.
According to him, “I know Buhari and he too knows me. Till the day I die, Buhari will continue to address me as ‘sir.’ In 2015, if I didn’t support Buhari, he wouldn’t have won the election.
“I have what it takes to correct him. Nigeria should not be in the position we are today. Nigeria can be better. God has given us all that we need.
Nigeria !!! which way?
Does this mean that just one man can sit in the comfort of his home to decide what happens to approximately 180 million Nigerians welfare?
Does it mean that the citizens of this country are too scared to speak up?
